Program	Support for Cancer Patients
Description	Provides services to cancer patients and their families including information and referral, counseling, transportation, friendly volunteers, support groups and equipment loans. Offers community education including videos, pamphlets and public speakers. Transportation for cancer patients to and from medical treatment is offered by volunteers. Support groups, including " I Can Cope" and " Reach to Recovery, " are held at local hospitals for mastectomy patients. Provides free wigs for patients losing their hair due to cancer treatment, and prosthesis and bras for women without health insurance. Offers speech classes for people who have had their larynx removed. Loans equipment including wheelchairs, commodes and surgical dressings to low-income persons. Provides information and consultation on employment discrimination and insurance problems.
